  • Basic data modeling principles


🔹 Module 3: Data Modeling and DAX

  • What is a data model?

  • Creating relationships between tables

  • Star schema vs snowflake schema

  • Introduction to DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

  • Common DAX functions: CALCULATE, SUMX, FILTER, etc.

  • Creating calculated columns and measures

  • Performance tips: optimizing visuals and DAX

  • Sharing and publishing dashboards to Power BI Service

  • Embedding dashboards (e.g., in websites or SharePoint)

  • Choose from: Sales Dashboard, HR Analytics, Financial Performance, or Marketing ROI

  • Clean and model the data

  • Apply visualizations, filters, and interactivity

  • Submit final .pbix file and recorded walkthrough (optional)
